The WALLPINIST haul bag is made with the absolute lightest, strongest, and most insane materials. Designed for Fast, Light, and Extreme objectives, the Wallpinist is the lightest haul bag in its class at a blistering 2lbs 6oz(65L) or 2lbs 1oz (45L) and packs down to 6”x6”x12”. Most of the webbing on this pack is either VENOM UHMWPE(2000lb MBS)
or DYNEEMA 1” webbing(5000lb MBS)
The body is made from incredibly strong and abrasion-resistant Challenge Ultra 800TX Laminated Sailcloth.

Other notable features of the Wallpinist:

-All carrying straps are FULLY removable whether the bag is full or not.

The Ice Axe/Trekking Pole attachments are fully removable for sustained hauling.
The Dyneema haul straps are offset to allow access into the bag when suspended.
The initial concept and purpose of the Wallpinist was not initially to fully load the bag and walk in to your objective, but to have two and pack the second climbers bag INSIDE of the other while climbing.  The haul straps were sewn further down to allow for a further roll of the top, and the compression straps have multiple points to keep them in the center to eliminate abrasion. Quick releasing G Hooks and Velcro points on the roll top add to the speed and effortless closing and opening of the bag.

Inside the bag are 4 clipping points for daisy chains and securing equipment.
4 removable ice axe straps and 4 ski carry straps are included.

One bag to rule them all!

I took this bag to the Kichatna spires in AK and was thoroughly impressed at how balanced it was in versatility and durability, all while maintaining a low weight. The terrain demanded a combination of big wall and alpine style tactics, where the wallpinist bag lended itself well to both, with a smooth transition between the two. The rock was exceptionally sharp and gritty, but by the end of the trip no holes could be found in the bag, and scuffing was minimal (except on the logo patch on the outside, looks bad a$$ though). I plan to use this bag for winter alpine and ice cragging as well, as it has all the typical features and fit, but with added durability compared to other bags I've used (eg. Mountain hardwear alpine light 50). The price point is high, but after running this bag on an expedition I expect a lot use out of it in the coming years.

I’m very impressed

I packed it with a really heavy load two hours up to a big wall and hauled the wallpinist up four pitches. I couldn’t believe how much stuff it fit inside and how comfortable it was to carry. For the weight, durability, and size it’s just an unbelievable value and I’ll never go back to a heavy haul bag again!
